Banrisha is a native of Shillong, Meghalaya, known as the 'Abode of Clouds', one of the smallest states of India. This narrative is about the 19 year olds dreams and aspirations which began 7 months ago when she decided to leave her native into a highly cosmopolitan life in Delhi.
Banrisha'smeagre background of family 5 sisters and parents earning their living as fruit sellers kept her away from fulfilling her ambitions. Educated upto class X and not being able to further pursue further education, just confined her to her small world of home and the place. As she grew, she realized, she needed to give wings to her dreams, so the journey started from Shillong to New Delhi with few of her friends in search of identity and turn dreams into reality. Thus began her soul searching path and she managed to get enrolled for a an industrial training at a 4 star hotel for 2 months. Post the training, one of her friends who was working for Lemon Tree Premier, Delhi, got an interview lined up for her, which she cleared and was offered as a Housekeeping Executive post her intensive training for 15 days.
Life for her has a different meaning, she lives with 2 of her friends in a shared accommodation and learning critical and essential lessons of life- managing finances, adaptability, discipline and inter-personal relations.
Banrisha is self-reliant today and her hard work and perseverance is helping her pave the way to success. She's an ideal for many young dreamers.
Arun is a part of the Lemon Tree family and works as a Front Office Executive at Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake Resort, Alleppey, Kerala, for the past two months.
Post the completion of his Front Office training with MindLaders helped him to provide indepth, meaningful, informative along with interesting information about the Front office epartment. It has helped him improve his FO basics and enabled him to face challenges on shift every day.
As Arun says 'My learning taught me to streamline processes at my hotel and also guide my colleagues to follow them correctly. Moreover, I have realised my own potential and ways to utilize my strengths'.
He's looking forward to being integral of the LTH family and also aspires to become a department certified trainer in the times to come.
Rabina works as a Guest Service Executive - Food & Beverage Service at Lemon Tree. The functional training that she underwent made her confident enough to work in the restaurant and also the ability to deal with customers well. Prior to the training she was nervous both because of lack of knowledge and also the softer elements pertaining to dealing with customers and colleagues. Now Rabina is self-assured as she's completely aware and aligned to LTH work standards and culture along with the confidence to articulate conversations and handle different situations with guests.
Rabina also under went Train The Trainer which was her next level of learning - as Rabina says 'I feel that I am a guardian and a leader for my colleagues. Both these training gave me the required skills, knowledge and the correct attitude to deal with day to day situations at work'.
